Tuned for the M140i(x), this exhaust silencer beautifully emphasizes its character and multiplies the driving experience and every press of the gas pedal, but without affecting the comfort of driving on longer journeys.
The system is designed for both versions without a GPF filter (up to summer 2018) and for newer versions with a GPF filter. In the older version, the system can be supplemented (recommended) with a centre section to further emphasize the sporty character.
The installation of the exhaust system does not affect the warranty and can be carried out at cooperating BMW dealers.
Two variants are available:
1. Non-Resonated The RACING front section is mounted in place of the original front silencer. No homologation. Original pipe: Ø 80 mm REMUS: 2x Ø 60 mm → 1x Ø 84 mm
2. Resonated Front part of the exhaust silencer mounted in place of the original front silencer. ECE homologation included. Original pipe: Ø 80 mm REMUS: 2x Ø 60 mm → 1x Ø 84 mm
